Approaching Storm Autumn

Approaching Storm W 60 cm H 98 cm

Using trees extensively throughout the pattern. This bold, naïve design with intense colourwashes is an eye-catching choice.

Falling leaves are stylised in exuberant colours contrasting with a dark sky as a storm approaches.

Inspired by sketches made in Colby Woodland Garden as storm clouds threatened above the wood.

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”

― Albert Camus

The solitary tree is exposed to the wind and storm clouds. The tree of life is often used metaphorically in relation to human life.

Zig zags represent journeys, paths through life.

The simplicity of this informal design would suit both new-build properties and period homes and would be very appealing for a commercial development.
